1. What is the difference between this app and other Apps on the App Store?

Unlike the conventional news aggregators or feeders, this tablet app delivers the printed edition digitally to your tablet.
 

2. Why is page download slower than I expected?

What you are downloading are high-resolution pages of the printed edition, thus the data volume is larger than those downloaded into a news aggregator.

If you are overseas, or with a considerable latency, or using mobile data services, it is recommended to download all pages before reading the newspaper.
 

3. Can I read the pages in offline mode?

Yes, you can read the pages anywhere offline as long as they have been downloaded.
 

4. How are the pages downloaded while I am reading the newspaper?

When you are browsing a page which is not downloaded, the App will download it right the way – at this moment you will experience a slight latency while flipping the page.

Besides, when you are reading, the app will automatically download the pages at the background until all pages are downloaded.
 

5. I've tried [Auto-Fetch] function last night but it didn't work, why?

There are 3 possible reasons:
(1) You might accidentally press the [Home] button and quit the iPad appm before you turn off the screen.
(2) Your network connection might be down somehow during the night.
(3) The power-adapter might not be properly connected thus it was not at battery-charging mode.

Please note that you are supposed to activate Auto-Fetch at night, usually after you finish all your work, instead of during your day time.

6. How should I flip to the next page? Sometimes, it just doesn't work when I slide my finger to the left?

If the page is not at the minimized view, the app will regard this action as moving this page instead of flipping to the next page. If that is the case, please zoom out, then slide your finger.
 

7. Can I jump to a specific page?

You can tap the button at the bottom to preview all pages.
 

8. I ever encountered a crash of the App, why?

The crash usually happens when tablet is able to detect your Wifi but the connection with Wifi is not stable. In this case, please launch web browser and visit some sites you are familiar, then open the App after the connection becomes stable.
 

9. How to experience the additionally embedded photos and videos?

Tablet edition supports embedding photos and video on top of the original printed pages.

Please look for icons while reading. They are usually placed above the related printed content. By taping the icons readers can view the photos and videos.

The video window will be closed upon completion. To re-play, please tap the icon once again.
 

10. Will too much space be used to store the issues?

Our app will perform house-keeping once the downloaded issues exceed the limit (5 issues by default, customizable inside our setting menu). Issues will be remove base on their download date.
Notes: You can re-download the issue for free if you paid for it, provided that you use the same Apple ID on "purchasing" the item.
 

11. How to check the "Auto-save Limit"?

You can check and configure the "Auto-save Limit" from our "Setting" menu.
 

12. If I am using a "JB" iPad, will there be any problem?

We do not recommend to use a jailbroken iPad with our App. Furthermore, due to Apple's policy, you cannot purchase chargable issue from our app.
 

13. How to purcahse an issue?<

You can use our iPad app to purchase "PCM" and "JET" magazine.

Click on the issue you would like to buy, confirm the price and login with your Apple ID with credit card information registered before. After that, you can downlaod the issue. Please note that, due to policy from Apple Inc., the price displayed will be in USD unless otherwise specify.

14. I've remove an issue that I purchased before, can I download it again?

You can re-buy and download the issue again by clicking on the issue cover in our app. As long as you are using the same Apple account, Apple will not charge you again.

15. What can I do if problem encountered during download?

Make sure that you are using our latest version of app, the network connection is fine, and close other applications that are running in the background by pressing the home button twice.

If the problem still persist, try to delete that issue by tap and hold the cover of it, and download it again. Othersise, please uninstall our app, and download it again from App Store or Samsung Apps.
 

16. What can I do if problem encountered during payment?

Please kindly contact Apple Inc with regarding to the purchase of any items from App Store using Apple ID.

You can contact Apple Inc by clicking the "Report a Problem" link from the receipt of the purchase, which is available from your email which use to register your Apple ID.
